The Guardian have opened an International Development Journalism Competition, open to all aspiring writers – http://ow.ly/4SPIo. All entrants need to do is write a 650 – 1000 word article on any of the set themes. The 16 lucky students who win will be taken to Africa or Asia to write a feature that will be published in the Guardian next to the best journalists in the UK.
